Learning with Purpose and Plan
Learning Experience Design or LXD is the practice of creating learning experiences that enable students to achieve their desired learning outcomes in a human-centered and goal-oriented way. It is designing intentional learning activities filled with purpose.
LXD is a combination of several design disciplines within the field of learning. Key design principles used in LXD come from user interaction design or UI, user experience design or UX, experience design, graphic design and game design. These principles are integrated with elements of education, training and development, instructional design, cognitive psychology, experiential learning, educational sciences and neuroscience.
